The Rainbow Club Casino’s Promise Mural was created by local artist, Ozzy Villate, in 2009. The 50-by-19-foot mural was painted with the city’s history and future in mind. In partnership with the Henderson Libraries, the Rainbow Club Casino commissioned this artwork to provide historic background on the city of Henderson. Every inch of the mural is symbolic: from the wavy waters that represent the mural’s home street, to the apple in the reading man’s hand which symbolizes the city’s “All People Promoting Literacy Efforts Partnership,” a program the city started in 2004.
